Profile
Mr Gerard Quarcoo is a Research Scientist of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research- Water Research Institute (CSIR-WRI). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana in 2004, Master’s degree in Environmental Science in 2011, at the University of Ghana, Legon. His expertise is in the area of aquatic microbiology.

His research focuses on: Microbial water quality and water resources management. He has supervised undergraduate students from Ghanaian Universities such as University of Development Studies. He has obtained funding to undertake a number of projects from agencies including the DFID, etc. He has carried consultancy work for clients such as the Eastern Corridor contractor, Bank of Ghana, Tamale.

He has to his credit some peer-reviewed articles in international journals such as Journal of Applied Science and Technology (JAST).
